Armyda Escobar is a Salvadoran-American filmmaker born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her inkling for film started in middle school when she created AMVs of her favorite TV shows on iMovie -later transitioning to Sony Vegas Pro 13. Despite it being a hobby, she taught herself motion graphics and gained a love for editing.
From there, Armyda studied film at Brooklyn College and became proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer.
